Mulheres fazem história (Women make history ) is a literary editorial project. It is a collection of short stories by writers from different decades of Brazilian literature, portraying the growth of the social position of women over time and through their own stories. The book is illustrated with copyrighted collages that synthetically represent phases of Brazilian female literature.
The project seeks to understand how the Brazilian woman manifests herself and interprets the world around her, as a character, as the author and as a reader of the world through the story. Thus, contributing to the formation of an identity of Brazilian women.
The graphic language of the project was developed from the concepts of feminism, women, history and Brazilianness. It maintais a critical and questioning attitude, besides the attitude of growth. The goal is to value women as a creator of intellectual and artistic content.
The book is available to be read here.︎︎︎
